WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide safe, stable, and appropriate shelter to pregnant or parenting youth who are 16 to 21 years of age who have run away from home, been forced to leave home, have no safe alternate living arrangement, are experiencing homelessness, or are at risk of being homeless. Projects should successfully transition youth experiencing homelessness into adulthood through the promotion of self-sufficient living and the prevention of long-term dependency on social services.
