FY 2024 Clean Energy to Communities Program: Expert Match

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will significantly accelerate the speed and scale of commitments, plans, and actions to increase clean energy, create jobs, build resiliency, and advance environmental justice by providing direct support to local communities to achieve their own goals. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local governments, tribal governments, metropolitan planning organizations, utilities, community-based organizations, regional planning organizations, and other public entities such as transit agencies, school districts, and housing authorities

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? Rather than providing monetary awards, this program will provide 40 to 60 hours of technical assistance

FY 2024 Waste-to-Energy (WTE) Technical Assistance for State, Local, and Tribal Governments

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program enables organic waste energy and/or resource recovery at the state, local, and tribal level by leveraging technical expertise and relevant data to address specific and unique issues each municipality encounters with its waste streams. FY 2022-2024 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL): Innovative Finance and Asset Concession Grant Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to facilitate and evaluate public-private partnerships in which the private sector partner could assume a greater role in project planning, development, financing, construction, maintenance, and operation, including by assisting eligible entities in entering into Asset Concessions. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Public entities that own, control, or maintain existing assets, and have the legal authority to enter a contract to transfer ownership, maintenance, operations, revenues, or other benefits and responsibilities for those assets

FY 2024 Second Chance Act Addressing the Needs of Incarcerated Parents and Their Minor Children

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to develop or expand services within juvenile and adult detention and correctional facilities to improve outcomes for incarcerated parents and their minor children. Funding will support the implementation of programs and services that reduce recidivism and support responsible parenting that leads to healthy child development, resiliency, and improved interactions among incarcerated parents and their minor children, as well as family and community members. FY 2024 Prosecuting Cold Cases Using DNA

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to increase the number of violent crime cold case prosecutions and decrease the number of unresolved violent crime cold cases that are awaiting further investigation and/or pending prosecution. Funding will support the prosecution of violent crime cold cases where a DNA profile from a known or unknown suspect has been developed. Click here for more information.
