On November 2, 2022, the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) is holding a free forum aimed at local elected officials, including special district board members, as well as high-level public agency staff handling CalPERS retirement matters.

The purpose of the forum is to update and engage on major issues facing CalPERS and employers, and to provide opportunities to learn about projected costs, global markets, investment strategy and policy matters that have a direct impact on the costs employers pay to fund retirement benefits. The program is anticipated to provide an opportunity to engage with CalPERS executives and board members.
