- Record financial support for special districts
- Unprecedented grassroots advocacy mobilization for relief funding
- Protections from costly mandates and restrictions
- Flexibility and efficiency for local services
You can learn more about these advocacy highlights and find an overview of the more
than 120 bills affecting special districts that CSDA actively lobbied in 2021, as well as short white papers
covering some of the most significant new laws taking effect in 2022. Finally, because many of the laws local
agencies must follow are interpreted by the court system, included is an overview of court cases in which CSDA
has engaged through amicus briefs on behalf of special districts.
