Department of Health and Human Services

FY 2022 Rural Communities Opioid Response Program-Implementation

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program aims to reduce the morbidity and mortality of substance use disorder (SUD), including opioid use disorder (OUD), in high risk rural communities by expanding SUD/OUD prevention, treatment, and recovery services to enhance rural residents’ ability to access treatment and move towards recovery. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Domestic public or private, nonprofit or for-profit entities, including faith-based and community-based organizations, tribes, and tribal organizations

Environmental Protection Agency

FY 2021 Recreation Economy for Rural Communities

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to help communities that are seeking to grow their outdoor recreation and tourism economy, invest in their Main Streets, and conserve forests and other natural lands. Through this program, award recipients will receive planning assistance from a funding agency planning team that will help bring together local residents and other stakeholders to decide on strategies and an action plan to grow the local outdoor recreation economy. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local governments, Indian tribes, and nonprofit organizations and institutions representing any U.S. community, including U.S. territories, as well as local colleges, public universities, or extension agencies

Department of Transportation

FY 2021 Nationally Significant Federal Lands and Tribal Projects (NSFLTP) Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program addresses significant challenges across the nation for transportation facilities that serve federal and tribal lands. Funding will support projects of national significance for construction, reconstruction, or rehabilitation of transportation facilities within, adjacent to, or providing access to federal or tribal lands. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Entities eligible to receive funds under the Federal Lands Access Program (23 United State Code (U.S.C.) 204), the Federal Lands Transportation Program (23 U.S.C. 203), the Tribal Transportation Program (23 U.S.C. 202), and the Federal Lands Planning Program (23 U.S.C. 201) may apply for funding under the NSFLTP Program, except that a State, county, or unit of local government may only apply for funding under the NSFLTP Program if sponsored by an eligible Federal land management agency (FLMA) or federally recognized Indian Tribe

FY 2022 Community Wood Energy and Wood Innovation Grant Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports projects to install a thermally led community wood energy system or build an innovative wood product facility. The program is intended to support forest health and stimulate local economies by expanding renewable wood energy use and innovative wood products manufacturing capacity. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Nonprofit organizations, state, local, and tribal government, businesses, companies, corporations, and other for-profit entities, institutions of higher education, and special purpose districts, such as public utilities districts, fire districts, conservation districts, and ports

FY 2022 Wood Innovations Funding Program 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports projects that substantially expand and accelerate wood products markets and wood energy markets throughout the United States to support forest management needs on National Forest System and other forest lands. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? For profit entities, state, local, and tribal government, school districts, community nonprofit organizations, institutions of higher education, and special purpose districts, such as public utilities districts, fire districts, conservation districts, and ports

Institute of Museum and Library Services

FY 2022 Museum Assessment Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program helps small and mid-sized museums of all types to strengthen operations, plan for the future, and meet standards. This program will provide recipient museums with a confidential, consultative process of self-assessment, institutional activities, and peer review. Click here for more information.

WHEN'S IT DUE? February 1, 2022

 

National Endowment for the Humanities

FY 2022 Public Humanities Projects

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program brings the ideas and insights of the humanities to life for general audiences through in-person programming including exhibitions, interpretive programs of historic places, and humanities discussions. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Nonprofits, public and nonprofit institutions of higher education, state and local government agencies, and federally recognized Native American tribal governments
