Response deadline by CalOES is May 12.
The survey may be viewed and completed electronically here.

The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is requesting that local jurisdictions complete and submit a Gap Analysis Survey in connection with the federal State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (SLCGP).

The SLCGP is anticipated to provide a modest amount of cybersecurity grant funding to California between FY 2022 and FY 2025, which can then be awarded to specified local governments as subgrantees. One condition of California’s participation in the SLCGP is its development of a cybersecurity plan addressing 16 elements. Cal OES has established workgroups and is soliciting survey data in connection with development of the cybersecurity plan and its required elements. Cal OES is performing a Gap Analysis as required by SLCGP to inform which areas it needs to focus on in the cybersecurity plan relative to the 16 required plan elements. Your participation in this survey will help ensure your agency’s interests are represented in the first-year plan as your responses will shape what gets focus and priority in the plan.

Special districts are encouraged to complete the survey and submit it by the deadline of May 12.

Alternatively, the survey may be downloaded in pdf here. and submitted by email to: cctf-slcgp@caloes.ca.gov.
