With $395 million ($395,000,000) available, the Statewide Parks Program(SPP) provides a historic funding opportunity for local communities
throughout California:
- Up to $8.5 million may be requested per project application.
- Grants will fund land acquisition and construction projects to create, expand, or improve parks in underserved communities.
- Eligible applicants include 501c3 nonprofit organizations, cities, counties, and park districts. Partnerships between local public agencies, health, and community-based organizations are encouraged.
