Special Districts Week, May 19 – 25, 2024 will be established by the State Legislature through Assembly Concurrent Resolution 163 (Hart).
CSDA has previously sponsored Senate Concurrent Resolution 52 (Alvarado-Gil, 2023), Assembly Concurrent Resolution 180 (Bauer-Kahan, 2022), Assembly Concurrent Resolution 17 (Voepel, 2021), Assembly Concurrent Resolution 179 (Voepel, 2020), and Assembly Concurrent Resolution 89 (Cooley, 2019) to encourage all Californians to be involved in their communities and be civically engaged with their government.
This year, Special Districts Week coincides with CSDA’s 2024 Special Districts Legislative Days being held May 21-22.
