FY 2025 Transformational Habitat Restoration and Coastal Resilience Grants

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support transformational habitat restoration projects that restore marine, estuarine, coastal, or Great Lakes ecosystems, using approaches that enhance community and ecosystem resilience to climate hazards. Funding will prioritize habitat restoration actions that: demonstrate significant impacts; rebuild productive and sustainable fisheries; contribute to the recovery and conservation of threatened and endangered species; promote resilient ecosystems, especially in tribal or underserved communities; and improve economic vitality, including local employment. FY 2025 Rural Health Care Services Outreach Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support organizations to promote rural health care services outreach by improving and expanding the delivery of health care services to include new and enhanced services in rural areas. To achieve this purpose, the program also aims to strengthen local resources and capacity in rural communities. Through collaborative consortiums that include three or more health care providers, each community can develop innovative approaches to solve their own unique challenges and factors underlying rural health disparities. FY 2025 Federal Lands to Parks Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program helps increase close-to-home recreation opportunities and the public recreation estate by working with communities interested in acquiring federal property for parks and recreation, including finding out about available federal property, assisting with the application, advocating for public recreation, and deeding the property. Once transferred, the program continues to work with communities to ensure this land remains available and used for public parks and recreation in perpetuity and to protect important natural and cultural resources. TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? Rather than providing monetary awards, this program conveys surplus federal land to communities, usually at no cost, for public park and recreational purposes.

FY 2025-2026 WaterSMART Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration Projects

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support the study, design, and construction of aquatic ecosystem restoration projects that are collaboratively developed; have widespread regional benefits; and are for the purpose of improving the health of fisheries, wildlife, and aquatic habitat through restoration and improved fish passage. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States, tribes, irrigation districts, water districts, and other organizations with water or power delivery authority located in Reclamation States, including entities and organizations that own a dam that is eligible for upgrade, modification, or removal. Nonprofit conservation organizations working in partnership with the entities listed above or that notify entities listed above are also eligible to apply.
