FY 2024 Farm to School Grants 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to implement farm to school programs that improve access to local foods in USDA Food and Nutrition (FNS) Child Nutrition Programs, including the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), and Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The program takes a comprehensive approach to advancing equity for all in farm to school programming, including people of color and others who have been historically underserved, marginalized, and adversely affected by persistent poverty and inequality. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Schools and other institutions that operate child nutrition programs, tribal organizations, agricultural producers or groups of agricultural producers, nonprofit entities, and state and local agencies.

FY 2023 Distributed Energy Systems Demonstrations Program 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to help the U.S. develop more reliable, resilient, and cost-effective energy systems to better support our rapidly changing electric grid and the growth of electric vehicles (EV), energy storage, and the electrification of buildings and industry. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Prime recipients include utilities, including municipal, cooperative, and investor-owned utilities; and for-profit entities currently engaged in grid service provision via an established portfolio of aggregated distributed energy resources.

FY 2024 National Fish Passage Program - Restoring River, Floodplain, and Coastal Connectivity and Resiliency

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program aims to provide direct technical and financial assistance to partners to remove instream barriers and restore aquatic organism passage and aquatic connectivity for the benefit of Federal trust resources. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State, local, and special district governments; independent school districts; institutions of higher education; tribal governments and organizations; housing authorities; nonprofits, small businesses; for-profit organizations; and individuals

FY 2023 Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide funding to communities to reduce or eliminate the flood risk of repetitive flood damage to structures and buildings insured by the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) and within NFIP-participating communities. Click here for more information.

FY 2023 Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide support to communities for hazard mitigation activities that promote climate adaptation and resilience with respect to the growing hazards associated with climate change. Program priorities for FY 2023 are to incentivize natural hazard risk reduction activities that mitigate risk to public infrastructure and disadvantaged communities, incorporate nature-based solutions, enhance climate resilience and adaptation, and increase funding to applicants that facilitate the adoption and enforcement of the latest published editions of building codes. Click here for more information.

FY 2024 Preservation Assistance Grants for Smaller Institutions 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to help small and mid-sized institutions to improve their ability to preserve and care for their significant humanities collections. Click here for more information.  

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Nonprofit organizations with 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, accredited and public 501(c)(3) institutions of higher education, state, and local government agencies, and federally recognized Native American tribal governments
