On May 22 at 3:00 p.m., the California Air Resources Board (CARB) is hosting a public roundtable meeting to discuss risk reduction strategies relating to the development of the zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty commercial vehicle market.

According to CARB, “This work is part of CARB’s SB 372 implementation and is designed to build on existing research and to investigate strategies in the finance, lease, and insurance industries, such as vehicle residual values and other support mechanisms. Staff will provide an update on current work surrounding financial and non-financial support for trucks and solicit feedback and discussion on potential future innovative financial strategies and programs that can further vehicle adoption. The meeting agenda will be posted to the Medium- and Heavy-Duty Fleet Zero-Emission Vehicle Purchasing Support webpage.”
