Special districts meet with their legislative representative at 2022 Special Districts Legislative Days.
Over 30 state legislative offices have RSVPed for brunch with attendees of this year’s Special Districts Legislative Days May 16-17 at the Sheraton Grand Sacramento. Legislative Days is where special district leaders gain the edge on policy changes impacting their agency and exchange ideas with California’s top decision-makers.
Similar to last year’s conference, CSDA has invited Legislators and Capitol staff to enjoy a meal with attendees and facilitate advocacy on priorities facing special districts. Attendees will also hear from Little Hoover Commission Chair Pedro Nava, State Senator and Chair of the Senate Climate Working Group, John Laird, and California State Director for USDA Rural Development Maria Gallegos Herrera.
With one-third of the State Legislature new to Sacramento this year, Special Districts Legislative Days is a can’t miss event. It’s not too late to register at legislativedays.csda.net.
