FY 2023 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law: State Manufacturing Leadership Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to accelerate the deployment of smart manufacturing technologies by small and medium sized manufacturing firms (SMMs). Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State and local governments, domestic institutions of higher education, nonprofits, for-profit entities, and Tribal Nations

FY 2023 Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Competitive Program

FY 2023 Section 242: Hydroelectric Production Incentive Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will provide incentive payments to qualified hydroelectric facilities for electricity generated and sold. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Any owner or authorized operator of a hydroelectric generation facility at an eligible existing dam that meets the eligibility criteria.

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $125 million

FY 2023 Section 243: Hydroelectric Efficiency Improvement Incentives Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will make incentive payments to the owners or authorized operators of a hydroelectric facility at an existing dam for capital improvements directly related to improving facility efficiency by at least three percent. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Any owner or authorized operator of a hydroelectric facility at an eligible existing dam that meets the eligibility criteria.

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $75 million

FY 2023-2025 Strategic Prevention Framework – Partnerships for Success for Communities, Local Governments, Universities, Colleges, and Tribes/Tribal Organizations

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program helps to reduce the onset and progression of substance misuse and its related problems by supporting the development and delivery of community-based substance misuse prevention and mental health promotion services. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local governments, domestic public or private, non-profit entities, including community-based organizations, federally recognized tribes, tribal organizations, and institutions of higher education.

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $16.5 million

FY 2023 Choice Neighborhoods Planning Grants

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports whole agency training efforts in de-escalation, implicit bias, and duty to intervene, including overtime to participate in training programs and support for training officers to attend nationally certified train-the-trainer programs. FY 2023 Intellectual Property Enforcement Program: Protecting Public Health, Safety, and the Economy from Counterfeit Goods and Product Piracy

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program seeks applications for funding to support law enforcement agencies that have an intellectual property (IP) enforcement task force or plan to create one. Click here for more information.

FY 2023 Second Chance Act Youth Reentry Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program encourages collaboration between state agencies, local governments, and community- and faith-based organizations to address the reentry and recidivism reduction challenges posed for youth who are returning to their communities from juvenile residential or correctional facilities. Click here for more information.

FY 2023 Building Pathways to Infrastructure Jobs Grant Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to fund public-private partnerships to develop, implement, and scale worker-centered sector strategy training programs that train and prepare the skilled workforce needed to meet the demands of the sizeable infrastructure investments made through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local governments, nonprofit organizations, workforce development entities, economic development agencies, education/training providers, and labor unions/labor-management organizations.

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $80 million

FY 2022-2023 Wildlife Crossings Pilot Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to save lives, prevent serious injuries, and protect motorists and wildlife by reducing wildlife vehicle collisions (WVCs), and improve habitat connectivity for terrestrial and aquatic species. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local governments, regional transportation authorities, special purpose district or public authority with a transportation function, Indian Tribes, State Departments of Transportation, metropolitan planning organizations, and Federal Land Management Agencies

FY 2023 Safe Streets and Roads for All

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this new program is to provide funding to develop the tools to help strengthen a community’s approach to roadway safety and save lives and is designed to meet the needs of diverse local, Tribal, and regional communities that differ dramatically in size, location, and experience administering Federal funding. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Metropolitan planning organizations (MPOs), political subdivisions of a state or territory, federally recognized Tribal governments, and multijurisdictional groups of entities.
