CSDA affiliate, the Institute for Local Government (ILG) has been selected to be part of the technical assistance team for the Regional Climate Collaboratives (RCC) program administered by the Strategic Growth Council (SGC). This new capacity building grant program funds community-rooted and cross-sectoral partners to develop the processes, plans, and projects that will drive and sustain climate action in their communities.
In this first round, SGC has $8.35 million available for grant awards and applicants have flexibility in requesting their funding amount with the range of $500,000-$1,750,000. This is an incredibly flexible and innovative program that provides funding to build unique, community-driven partnerships in underserved communities to help build capacity and access state funding for climate change mitigation and adaption projects.
