FY 2022 NOAA Marine Debris Removal under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports beneficial impacts to coastal and marine habitats and communities, including the Great Lakes and coastal riverine systems, across a broad geographic scale through a variety of marine debris removal methods. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local and state governments, Native American Tribal governments, institutions of higher education, and nonprofits.

FY 2022 Coastal Habitat Restoration and Resilience Grants for Underserved Communities

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will engage underserved communities in habitat restoration activities that promote resilient ecosystems and communities. This funding will provide capacity for these communities to more fully participate in developing future transformational habitat projects. This capacity is intended to ensure that communities are integral to the visioning and decision-making for coastal habitat restoration projects that affect them, and that they directly benefit from these projects. Click here for more information.

FY 2022 Transformational Habitat Restoration and Coastal Resilience Grants Under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will support transformational projects that restore habitat for our nation’s fisheries and protected resources, while also strengthening the resilience of coastal communities and ecosystems. It will invest in projects that have the greatest potential to provide holistic benefits, through habitat-based approaches that strengthen both ecosystem and community resilience. Click here for more information.

FY 2022 Railroad Crossing Elimination Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to fund

highway-rail or pathway-rail grade crossing improvement projects that focus on improving the safety and mobility of people and goods. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local and state governments, public port authorities, metropolitan planning organizations and Native American Tribal governments.

FY 2022 Reconnecting Communities Pilot (RCP) Discretionary Grant Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to reconnect communities by removing, retrofitting, or mitigating highways or other transportation facilities that create barriers to community connectivity, including to mobility, access, or economic development. Click here for more information.
