FY 2021 American Rescue Plan Additional Assistance

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides additional assistance to transit agencies in response to COVID-19. Eligible expenses are costs related to operations, personnel, cleaning, and sanitization combating the spread of pathogens on transit systems, and debt service payments incurred to maintain operations and avoid layoffs and furloughs as a result of COVID-19. WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program assists current GPD grantees with acquiring, constructing or rehabilitating real property for the purpose of improving the transitional housing they offer to Veterans, potentially making transitional housing more attractive than unsheltered places for Veterans who previously were difficult to outreach.
