CSDA is pleased to announce the appointment of Nikki Winslow, District Director of the Altadena Library District, to the CSDA Board of Directors, representing Seat C of the Southern Network for the remainder of the 2024–2026 term.
Director Winslow brings more than two decades of public service experience and a strong record of leadership in library administration, community engagement, and regional collaboration. Her commitment to advancing the mission of special districts and her active involvement in CSDA’s San Gabriel Valley Chapter reflect her dedication to strengthening local governance statewide.
Director Winslow has also experienced firsthand the power of collaboration between special districts and CSDA. When wildfires threatened the Altadena community, she drew on CSDA’s resources to support the library district’s recovery and secured a lobbyist to advocate for long-term resilience. Under her leadership, the Altadena Public Library became a vital hub for community coordination, ensuring recovery efforts could proceed smoothly.
Even prior to this appointment, Director Winslow has been an engaged and enthusiastic member of the CSDA community. A regular participant in CSDA events and educational opportunities, she leads by example, continually leveraging available resources to enhance her leadership and amplify her impact within the Altadena Library District.
This level of problem-solving, proactive leadership, and determination to achieve results in increasingly complex environments is why CSDA is proud to welcome Director Winslow to the Board of Directors.
