Proposed Regulations for Automated-Decision Making Systems

Today at 10:00 AM, the Civil Rights Council will discuss proposed regulations centered around decreasing Fair Employment and Housing Act violations, specifically related to employment, by reviewing the usage of automated-decision systems utilized in the employment hiring and decision-making process. The regulations are intended to assist with employment rights and obligations of avoiding potential discrimination that can occur from automated-decision systems such as artificial intelligence, algorithms, and machine learning software.
