National Institute of Corrections

FY 2025 National Institute of Corrections (NIC): Technical Assistance (TA) Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide TA to address the needs, problems, and specific requirements of federal, state, local, or tribal correctional agencies or other organizations in the field of corrections. Rather than providing monetary awards, this program will provide TA that includes on-site guidance, support, consultation, or training provided by an experienced technical resource provider (TRP) or NIC staff member. Click here for more information.

Federal Transit Administration

FY 2025 Federal Transit Capital Investment Grant (CIG) Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support transit capital investments, including heavy rail, commuter rail, light rail, streetcars, bus rapid transit (BRT), and ferries. The program also supports corridor-based BRT investments that emulate the features of rail. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State and local governments including transit agencies

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? In FY 2025, an unspecified amount of funding is available to support awards through this program

WHEN'S IT DUE? Rolling

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

FY 2025 Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program: New (Year 1)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support the efforts of community coalitions who work to prevent and reduce substance use among youth. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Community-based coalitions addressing youth substance use that have not previously received a DFC grant

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $31.25 million

WHEN'S IT DUE? May 5, 2025

Center for Disease Control and Prevention

FY 2025 Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program: Competing Continuation (Year 6)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support the efforts of community coalitions working to prevent and reduce substance use among youth 18 years and younger. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Community-based coalitions with a main mission statement related to youth substance use prevention and that have previously received funding through this program, that have experienced a lapse in funding, or that have concluded the first five-year funding cycle and are applying for a second five-year funding cycle  

TOTAL FUNDING AMOUNT? $31.25 million

WHEN'S IT DUE? May 5, 2025
