On-demand recordings are now available free of charge to CSDA members from the recent two-part grants training webinar series sponsored by the National Special Districts Coalition (NSDC). CSDA is a founding member of NSDC and all CSDA members receive full access to NSDC benefits and services.
During the live webinar series earlier this month, special district officials posed a significant number of questions to grant trainers about federal funding opportunities related to fire protection. In response, NSDC has provided CSDA members with a fire prevention and safety grant funding guide as a value-added resource.
Webinar participants learned about expert predictions for 2025 grant opportunities, emerging sectors, and themes expected to attract significant funding. The NSDC webinars also explored hot grants by type of district, providing a targeted analysis of where grant money is likely to flow across various regions and sectors.
Below you will find the NSDC Grants resource guide, recordings, slides, and project idea portal information. The NSDC Project Idea Portal allows CSDA members to request NSDC grant professionals conduct a preliminary evaluation of their priority projects and meet to discuss potential grant funding opportunities.
