Department of

Agriculture

FY 2023 Advanced Biofuel Payment Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to support and ensure an expanding production of advanced biofuels by paying advanced biofuel producers for finished advanced biofuel products. Click here for more information. 

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Any entity that produces and sells advanced biofuel.

WHEN'S IT DUE? October 31, 2022

 

Department of Agriculture

FY 2023 Fertilizer Product Expansion Program (FPEP)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to increase or otherwise expand the manufacturing and processing of fertilizer, nutrient alternatives, and other nutrient management products and technologies and their availability in the United States. Click here for more information. 

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local and and state governments, Native American tribal organizations, nonprofit organizations and for-profit organizations, corporations, certified benefit corporations, and producer-owned cooperatives and corporations. 

WHEN'S IT DUE? November 14, 2022 and December 29, 2022

 

Department of Agriculture

FY 2023 Solid Waste Management Grant

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program reduces or eliminates pollution of water resources by providing funding for organizations that provide technical assistance or training to improve the planning and management of solid waste sites. Projects must be in rural areas and towns with a population of 10,000 or less. Click here for more information. 

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local and state governments, Native American tribal governments, academic institutions, and nonprofit organizations.

WHEN'S IT DUE? December 31, 2022

 

Department of Health and Human Services

FY 2023 Children's Safety Network 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to increase the capacity of Title V agencies to adopt and implement evidence-based child and adolescent safety programs, practices, and policies, with a specific focus on injury and violence prevention-related Title V performance and outcome measures, such as injury hospitalizations, bullying, safe sleep, and suicide, as well as leading causes of injury-related deaths among children and adolescents (e.g., motor vehicle crashes, firearms, and poisonings).  Click here for more information. 

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? State and local governments, special districts, Native American tribal governments, for-profit and nonprofit organizations, independent school districts, and small businesses.

Department of Health and Human Services

FY 2023-2025 Residential (Long Term Foster Care) Services for Unaccompanied Children

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide temporary shelter care and other child welfare-related services to unaccompanied children (UC) in ORR custody by supporting long-term foster care (LTFC) providers for the provision of foster care services to UC, including sibling groups, pregnant/parenting teens, or UC who are especially vulnerable or with other needs.  Click here for more information. 

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Eligibility for this program is unrestricted.

Department of Housing and Urban Development

FY 2022 Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant Program 

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program helps communities transform neighborhoods by redeveloping severely distressed public and/or U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)-assisted housing and catalyzing critical improvements in neighborhoods. Click here for more information. 

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local governments, public housing authorities, and Indian housing authorities. 

WHEN'S IT DUE? January 11, 2023

 

Department of Transportation

FY 2022 Thriving Communities Program - Capacity Builders

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to establish a national technical assistance program that will drive innovation, advance equity outcomes, and build a national pipeline of community-driven infrastructure projects. Applicants will provide technical assistance, planning and capacity building support to disadvantaged communities. Click here for more information. 

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local and state governments, Native American tribal governments, philanthropic entities, other technical providers with a demonstrated capacity to develop and provide technical assistance, planning, and capacity building.

Department of Transportation

FY 2022 Thriving Communities Program - Community Letters of Interest

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program will provide technical assistance, planning, and capacity building support to communities to help them compete for federal aid and deliver quality infrastructure projects that enable their communities and neighborhoods to thrive. Click here for more information. 

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local and state governments, Native American tribal governments, metropolitan planning organizations, transit agencies, and other political subdivisions of state or local government.

WHEN'S IT DUE? December 6, 2022



Districts pursuing grants but are uncertain of their options may complete NSDC’s Project Idea Portal for a connection directly to TFG.
