FY 2022 Industrial Efficiency and Decarbonization

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to fund high-impact, applied research and development, and prototype or pilot scale technology validation and demonstration projects in order to expedite the adoption of transformational industrial technology necessary to increase energy efficiency across industry and in high greenhouse gas-emitting industrial subsectors. Click here for more information.

Department of Health and Human Services

FY 2022 Resiliency in Communities After Stress and Trauma (ReCAST)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to promote resilience, trauma-informed approaches, and equity in communities that have recently faced civil unrest, community violence, and/or collective trauma within the past 24 months. This program also intends to assist high-risk youth and families through the implementation of evidence-based violence prevention and community youth engagement programs. Click here for more information. 

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local and state governments, political subdivisions of the state, nonprofit organizations, or Native American tribal governments that have faced civil unrest, community violence, and/or collective trauma within the last 24 months.

Department of Housing and Urban Development

FY 2022 Healthy Homes Production (HHP) Grant Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports a comprehensive approach to addressing multiple childhood diseases and injuries in the home by focusing on housing-related hazards in a coordinated fashion, rather than addressing a single hazard at a time. The program expands the funding agency's efforts to address a variety of high-priority environmental health and safety hazards.  Click here for more information.

Department of Interior

FY 2022 Historic Preservation Program (HPF): Semiquincentennial Grant

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports the physical preservation of a broad variety of cultural resources associated with the founding of America as a nation in commemoration of the country's semiquincentennial (250th anniversary). Click here for more information.

WHEN'S IT DUE? December 6, 2022

 

Department of Agriculture

FY 2022 Community Wildfire Defense Grant

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program assists at-risk local communities and Indian tribes with planning for and mitigating against the risk created by wildfire. The two primary project types that will be supported through this program are the development and revising of Community Wildfire Protection Plans (CWPPs) and the implementation of projects described in a CWPP that is less than ten years old. Click here for more information.

Districts pursuing grants but are uncertain of their options may complete NSDC’s Project Idea Portal for a connection directly to TFG.
