Department of Housing and Urban Development

FY 2022 Jobs Plus Initiative

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program develops locally based, job-driven approaches that increase earnings and advance employment outcomes through work readiness, employer linkages, job placement, educational advancement, technology skills, and financial literacy for residents of public housing. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local governments and public housing authorities.

WHEN'S IT DUE? July 29, 2022

 

Department of the Interior

FY 2022 Historic Preservation Fund History of Equal Rights Grant Program Preservation Grants

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to preserve sites related to the struggle of all Americans to gain equal rights. Grants are available for planning and "brick and mortar" preservation/conservation work on historic buildings and structures. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local and state governments, special district governments, independent school districts, institutions of higher education, Native American tribal governments, and nonprofits. 

WHEN'S IT DUE? September 14, 2022

 

Environmental Protection Agency

FY 2023 Brownfields Job Training Grants

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program recruits, trains, and place unemployed and under-employed residents of solid and hazardous waste-impacted communities with the skills needed to obtain full-time, sustainable employment. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local governments, land clearance authorities, redevelopment agencies, states, Native American Tribes, and nonprofits.

WHEN'S IT DUE? August 2, 2022

 

Small Business Administration

FY 2022 Federal and State Technology Partnership Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to help under-represented entrepreneurs successfully compete for the funding agency's Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer programs, which strengthen the technological competitiveness of small businesses across the country. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? Local and state government, institutions of higher education, nonprofits, and the private sector.
