Today, CSDA CEO Neil McCormick issued the following statement in response to Governor Gavin Newsom's
2022-23 State Budget proposal:
“Governor Newsom’s budget proposal rightly confronts the many challenges of our time: climate change, wildfires, drought, and housing, all of which require thoughtful approaches built from the ground up. The locally focused experts in California’s special districts are hard at work every day tackling these issues facing our communities and we look forward to working with the Governor and State Legislature to build on our partnership in these proposed investments.”
