Anthony Tannehill first joined the California Special Districts Association advocacy team in 2018 as Legislative Representative. After 4 years of advocacy with CSDA, Tannehill embarked on different professional pursuits, returning to CSDA in late 2023 as legislative representative with a new subject matter portfolio.
Mr. Tannehill brings a suite of skills and experience in legislation, policy and advocacy to his clients. Over the past two decades, he has served multiple members of the California Legislature, grassroots campaigns and organizations.
He has worked successfully on a broad portfolio of topics and provides a nuanced understanding of the policy-making process, coalition building, bill drafting, legislative analysis, and on-brand storytelling to achieve his clients’ objectives.
Tannehill thrives on building and contributing to those teams that lead to results and favorable outcomes.
When not advocating for his members, Tannehill can be found outdoors, camping with his friends and family.
