FY 2023 Energy Improvements in Rural or Remote Areas (ERA) program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides financial investment, technical assistance, and other resources to advance clean energy demonstrations and energy solutions in rural and remote areas that can be replicated and scaled. Click here for more information.

FY 2023 Treatment for Individuals with Serious Mental Illness, Serious Emotional Disturbance, or Co-Occurring Disorders Experiencing Homelessness

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program provides comprehensive, coordinated, and evidenced-based services for individuals, youth, and families with a serious mental illness (SMI), serious emotional disturbance (SED), or co-occurring disorder (COD) who are experiencing homelessness, including encampments, or at imminent risk of homelessness, such as people exiting jail or prison without a place to live. States and territories, including the District of Columbia; political subdivisions of states; Indian tribes; tribal organizations; health facilities; and programs operated by, or in accordance with, a contract or award with the Indian Health Service or other public or private nonprofit entities.

FY 2023 Overdose Data to Action: Limiting Overdose Through Collaborative Actions in Localities

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program supports projects that will use data to drive actions that reduce overdose morbidity and mortality in communities quickly, while addressing health disparities, with a primary focus on opioid, stimulant, and polysubstance use involving opioids and/or stimulants. WHO'S ELIGIBLE? County governments, city or townships, special district governments, tribes or tribal-serving organizations, local governments or their bona fide agents, territorial governments or their bona fide agents, and institutions of higher education.

FY 2023 WaterSMART Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration Projects

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to provide funding for the restoration and protection of aquatic ecosystems. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States, tribes, irrigation districts, water districts, and other organizations with water or power delivery authority located in Reclamation States, including entities and organizations that own a dam that is eligible for upgrade, modification, or removal. Nonprofit conservation organizations working in partnership with the entities listed above or that notify entities listed above are also eligible to apply.

FY 2023 Community-Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative (CVIPI)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program aims to prevent and reduce violent crime in communities by supporting comprehensive, evidence-based violence intervention and prevention programming. The program furthers the funding agency's mission to ensure public safety and provide federal leadership in preventing and controlling crime, as well as the agency's mission to provide leadership, resources, and solutions for creating safe, just, and engaged communities.  Click here for more information.

City, township, and county governments; for-profit organizations, other than small businesses; federally recognized Native American tribal governments and Native American tribal governments; 501(c)(3) and non-501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations; public, state, private, and tribal institutions of higher education; special districts governments; and state governments.

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to improve K-12 school security by providing students and teachers with the tools they need to recognize, respond quickly to, and help prevent acts of violence and ensure a positive school climate. Click here for more information.

WHO'S ELIGIBLE? States, local governments, county governments, Native American tribal governments, public and state-controlled institutions of higher education, private institutions of higher education, independent school districts, and non-profits. Private K-12 schools, including private charter schools, should apply as nonprofit organizations. Public charter schools should apply as independent school districts.

FY 2023 Grants to Improve the Criminal Justice Response (ICJR)

WHAT DOES IT FUND? The purpose of this program is to encourage state, local, and tribal governments, and courts, to improve the criminal justice response to domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking as serious violations of criminal law, and to seek safety and autonomy for victims, by requiring the coordinated involvement of the entire criminal justice system. This program will help eligible entities to partner with federal, state, tribal, and local entities and businesses, along with veteran, community, social, and faith-based organizations, to organize and hold Stand Down (SD) events for veterans experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. This program is intended to support SD events that will enhance employment and training opportunities and/or promote the self-sufficiency of veterans experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. FY 2023 Charging and Fueling Infrastructure Discretionary Grant Program

WHAT DOES IT FUND? This program strategically deploys electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, hydrogen fueling infrastructure, propane fueling infrastructure, and natural gas fueling infrastructure located on public roads or in other publicly accessible locations and strategically deploy charging and alternative fueling infrastructure located along designated alternative fuel corridors.
