The California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) will be hosting an upcoming series of CalPERS Employer Leadership Dialogues.
These discussions are intended for senior and executive management of public agency members of CalPERS. They will focus on key pension and health benefit topics relevant to public employers and offer the opportunity to engage with CalPERS senior leaders.
Participants can expect to receive updates on relevant topics, including:
- The status of the fund and projected pension costs;
- Strategies for repaying unfunded accrued liabilities;
- Actuarial updates;
- Employment rules for various employee types;
- Post-retirement employment regulations;
- Legislative updates;
- Health care options and costs; and,
- Pension contracts.
