Governor to Present May Revise Today at 10:30 a.m.

Following a week-long tour across the state highlighting his key initiatives, Governor Gavin Newsom will submit his May Revise, including his $100 billion "California Comeback Plan" to the Legislature this morning in Sacramento.

 

Over the course of the week, Governor Newsom has highlighted a number of budgetary proposals, including relief for Californians recovering from the pandemic, which includes a small business relief program; a $12 billion plan to tackle the homelessness crisis; $20 billion in proposed investments for public schools; and a $5.1 billion package supporting the state’s drought response and water infrastructure.
