The Coachella Valley Water District, Cucamonga Valley Water District, Monte Vista Water District, and San Diego County Water Authority have all applauded Governor Brown’s actions last Friday when he declared an end to the drought emergency in California. The Los Angeles Times reported, “Brown issued an executive order that lifts the drought emergency in all but a handful of San Joaquin Valley counties where some communities are still coping with dried-up wells. He also made it clear that the need for conservation is not going away.”
