The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District is underway planning the family-friendly annual events Children’s Fair and Dogtoberfest – and there’s still booth space left for those who want to get in on the fun. The ever-popular Children’s Fair is set Saturday, September 9 at the Robert Livermore Community Center and features make-it-and-take-it craft booths, live performances, sports activities, bounce houses, and much more. Various vendor booth options are available. Returning for its third annual year is Dogtoberfest, slated for Sunday, October 15 at Robert Livermore Park. This event is for families and their furry friends to have a barking good time at this dog celebration festival. Attendees visit vendor booths, enjoy pet contests, and more. Vendor booth categories for Dogtoberfest are: dog rescue/adoption, dog nonprofit information, dog commercial vendor and dog commercial information booths. Potential vendors for Children’s Fair or Dogtoberfest can find the booth reservation forms online at www.larpd.org.
