More and more we hear from special districts seeking solid data on the salary and benefits being offered by other agencies. How much does your office manager get paid? Does your district have a “cafeteria plan”? Does your district pay for jury duty leave? What kind of retirement plan do you offer? How does my agency compare to others in my county?

In response to this ongoing demand, the California Special Districts Association (CSDA) is in the process of preparing the 2012 CSDA  Administrative Salary & Benefits Survey. CSDA is currently collecting information about wages, benefits, retirement, vacation and sick leave offered for administrative positions in special districts throughout California. We hope to have a record number of districts reporting this information which will be compiled into the 2012 edition of our Administrative Salary and Benefits Survey publication.

Your district should be receiving the printed survey form soon, so watch for it in your mail. Your participation, by completing and returning the survey, provides important data that will help ensure the final compiled results accurately reflect the salary and benefits being offered by California’s special districts.

To show our appreciation for your completed and returned survey form, CSDA will extend a discount on the final publication. Districts that submit the survey online enjoy an even deeper discount. Note: We recommend you compile your data on the printed form before completing the survey online. Please submit one survey per district.
