The meetings are for awarding bodies/agencies and contractors. The topics covered will include what the regulation changes mean to your certified payroll report submission & monitoring procedures and filing/investigating public works complaints.  The meetings are set to be held:

  • Thursday, March 15 in Los Angeles at the Serra State Auditorium, located at 320 W. 4th Street. To register, please click here.

The Compliance Monitoring Unit (CMU) is a new component within the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement’s Bureau Field Enforcement’s Public Works Unit, which was created to monitor and enforce prevailing wage and other labor laws on public works projects that receive state bond funding and on other projects that are legally required to use the CMU.
