On Tuesday, March 20, CSDA is hosting a free “legislative lowdown” webinar for members. Sign up here to learn more about key bills and other priority legislative issues impacting districts this year. Because formally registering your district’s position on legislation is a fundamental step toward affecting policy decisions made in Sacramento, CSDA encourages districts to weigh in on particularly impactful bills. If your district does not have a formal policy for drafting position letters on bills, CSDA offers a set of model policies your district can use as guidelines. These policies along with other useful legislative resources can be found in the Legislative Access Services portion of the website under Free Legislative Publications. |
