| Fresno Area: Two Popular CSDA Workshops Coming on February 9 |
 Thursday, February 9, 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.Two popular CSDA workshops are coming to the Fresno Area on February 9: Understanding Board Member & District Liability and Sexual Harassment Prevention. Both workshops are presented by SDRMA and are eligible for SDRMA Credit Incentive Points. Understanding Board Member & District Liability: Having a complete understanding of the potential liability issues in your district can prevent problems in the future and even assist with efficiency and communication protocols. This is a discussion of the legal role of the Board in the management and operation of a public agency and the role of individual Board members acting within the course and scope of their official duties. Sexual Harassment Prevention: Receive your AB 1825 compliance training for special districts with this workshop. AB 1825 makes sexual harassment prevention training mandatory for supervisory employees of special districts and other organizations. This legislation requires employees to receive at least two hours of sexual harassment prevention training evey two years.
