Thursday, September 8 As a public official or designated filer, you have a legal duty to file a Statement of Economic Interests, commonly known as Form 700. Given the recent headlines, the expectations for transparency in government has grown. This training will explain the "ins" and "outs" of the form 700 and how to satisfy your state-mandated financial disclosure requirements. Our trainers will explain what investments and income needs to be disclosed, how to determine if you received a gift, and how to value and report travel, among other topics. The webinar will also discuss ways in which the Form 700 can be used to help staff identify and avoid conflict.
